Victoria Park
One of the few parks in . It’s a great place. On Sundays you would be forgiven if you actually thought you were in the Phillipines. Sunday is typically the day off for the city’s large population of (mostly Filipina) domestic helpers. Victoria park is a popular meeting place for them. is also the starting point for most protest marches in Hong Kong. It’s the site of the biggest New Year’s flower market and it hosts all manner of community and public events throughout the year. And a statue of herself presides over all of it.
